Project Manager
The qualified Project Manager will play a critical role in the development, design and construction of our first waste-to-biofuels facility, working closely with management, other key project employees and our engineering and construction firm, design contractors and equipment suppliers. The Project Manager will also be responsible for: preparing the scope of work for the project; providing status updates to senior management; directing various contractors performing the work to ensure compliance with project scope, specifications and company directed requirements; participating in design, safety and environmental reviews during the project's development; recommending to senior management necessary changes/improvements to the project designs, and; coordinating with technology and equipment suppliers to provide documents to the operations organization.
Requirements:
Minimum ten years of process/project engineering and project management experience with an operating company or contractor. Preferred industry experience: petrochemical, chemical processing, oil refinery, corn-to-ethanol, waste-to-energy.
B.S. in engineering; Registered Professional Engineer or Certified Project Manager is preferred.
Process Engineer
The qualified Process Engineer will be primarily responsible for working with management, other key project employees and our engineering and construction firm, design contractors and equipment suppliers to evaluate their designs of our first waste-to-biofuels facility; performing independent process studies; evaluating process designs to ensure compliance with environmental and safety requirements; assisting with design, troubleshooting and updates to the instrument control system (DCS and PLC) and process analyzers, and; analyzing plant performance and recommending actions to ensure effective process control and efficient operating conditions.
Requirements:
Minimum eight years of process engineering experience, including three years of process design experience. Preferred industry experience: petrochemical, chemical processing, oil refinery, corn-to-ethanol, waste-to-energy.
Minimum one year operating a process plant.
B.S. in chemical engineering; Registered Professional Engineer is preferred.
